To The Sky 🚀 🚀 — Story After Bangkit

“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” — Mahatma Gandhi
Hello Muggles, It’s been a while since I graduated from Bangkit 2023. I’m excited to share my #LifeAfterBangkitAdventure.
Joining Bangkit Academy, led by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka, was one of the best decisions I made. Being accepted into its cohort was not an easy task, nor was it a quick journey or an instant process. I dedicated over 900 hours of my time to focus on learning in the field of Machine Learning at Bangkit Academy, led by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka. I am extremely grateful for the experiences I have gained, as they have allowed me to become one of the distinguished graduates of Bangkit Academy and be a part of the Bangkit Alumni Network.
- Now I am Tensorflow Developer Certificate
After graduating from Bangkit Academy, I decided to take the next step in my career as a machine learning developer. I applied for the TensorFlow Developer Certificate, which is a credential that demonstrates my ability to build and deploy TensorFlow models using best practices. I studied hard for the exam, which covers topics such as data pipelines, model architecture, training, debugging, and deployment. I passed the exam with flying colors and received my certificate in November 2023. I am very proud of this achievement, as it shows my proficiency and dedication to the field of machine learning.
2. Joining National and International Competition

I also participated in several national and international competitions to challenge myself and showcase my skills. One of the competitions I joined was the Compfest 15 Category AI Innovation Challange, which was a Nasional event where teams of developers used AI to solve real-world problems. My team and I chose to work on the problem of detecting diabetic retinopathy, which is a leading cause of blindness among adults. We used TensorFlow and Google Cloud Vision API to build a model that can classify eye images into five stages of the disease. We submitted our solution to the hackathon and received positive feedback from the judges. We get 1st Runner up and Audience Award.
3. Met Many Amazing People

One of the best things about Bangkit Academy was the opportunity to meet many amazing people who share the same passion and vision as me. I made friends with my classmates, mentors, instructors, and alumni from different backgrounds and regions. We learned from each other, supported each other, and collaborated on various projects. We also had fun together, joining online events, games, and social media challenges. I am grateful for the Bangkit community, which has become my second family. I still keep in touch with them and look forward to meeting them in person someday.
Bangkit Academy has changed my life in many ways. It has given me the knowledge, skills, confidence, and network to pursue my dream of becoming a machine learning developer. I am thankful for the opportunity and the support I received from Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka, as well as from the Bangkit team and the Indonesian government. I hope to use what I have learned to contribute to the development of Indonesia and the world through technology. I also hope to inspire and help other aspiring developers to follow their passion and achieve their goals. Bangkit Academy is not the end, but the beginning of my #LifeAfterBangkit.
